Hi! My name is Walter Miller and I will be serving as a Biking for Babies missionary riding on the Maine team this year. As a part of this mission, I will be preparing physically and spiritually alongside my team to ride and advocate for women facing unexpected pregnancies. Through this experience, I hope to grow closer to God while supporting a cause that is deeply meaningful to me.
I am from Charlotte Hall, Maryland and currently work as an engineer. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and challenging myself physically, which is what first drew me to Biking for Babies. As someone who values both personal growth and serving others, I was excited to find a mission that combines spiritual growth, endurance, and is pro-life.
When I first applied to be a missionary, I had two main goals: to strengthen my spiritual life and to contribute to a meaningful cause. Biking for Babies has been the perfect intersection of both. This year, I am riding not only for those experiencing unexpected pregnancies, but also for my grandparents and my brother.
I believe this mission is important because renewing culture of life matters. Biking for Babies helps ensure that when a woman faces an unplanned pregnancy, she knows she has support through Pregnancy Resource Centers and life-affirming options. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this mission and to make a difference through both faith and action.
Join me in Biking for Babies' mission by making a gift towards my fundraising campaign. Your gift supports our mission to renew the culture of life by forming young adult missionaries and raising awareness and funds for pregnancy resource centers that support pregnant women across the country. All donations directly support Pregnancy resources centers, gear and equipment for the ride is brought by the riders.
