I’m an early childhood teacher and have always had a passion and love for helping children grow and learn. When I’m not teaching, I love to hike, climb trees, jump in a body of water, and play my guitar.
This year, I chose to serve as a support crew member for Biking for Babies. Being part of the support crew means embracing a servant's heart and becoming a hidden yet vital backbone of the ride—managing the hydration, nutrition, safety, and morale—so riders can focus entirely on their portion of the mission. This opportunity to pour out for others in practical and unseen ways is what has drawn me to the mission this year. This, as well as the prayer intention that all mothers expecting unplanned pregnancies would find joy and fulfillment in their call to motherhood, is why I am serving on mission with Biking for Babies this summer.
Biking for Babies is dedicated to renewing the culture of life by praying for all women experiencing unplanned pregnancies and supporting pregnancy resource centers across the United States. From July 11-19th, young adults will participate in a national long-distance ride using these physical challenges to raise awareness and provide tangible financial support for expectant mothers and their families. Riders and support crew will conclude their journey in either St. Louis or Philadelphia with a celebration of life!
