Matthew Dawson
My Story
Hey there! My name's Matthew and this is my seventh year as a Biking for Babies missionary, and first year as support crew! I live in Ankeny, IA and go to Mass at St. Luke's. I love to be outside, biking, hiking, kayaking, and camping, and have always considered myself a rider for Biking for Babies, but this year I was challenged to give support crew a shot. I'm excited to see where God leads me in this role with my team!
I've come back for seven years for the simple beauty of this mission. The world tells moms and dads they can't have a baby and graduate college, or they can't have a fourth kid and still afford rent. We're here to show them that they are loved, capable, and strong enough to choose life. Biking for Babies raises money for pregnancy resource centers that offer free supplies, counseling, and ultrasounds to moms and dads who may be running low on resources and hope. Your donation goes towards these centers and allows them to keep offering this life-saving help at no cost. Your donation also goes towards our greater mission, to form young adults in the pro-life movement and equip us to go out into the world to change lives and save lives for Christ.
Join me in Biking for Babies' mission by making a gift towards my fundraising campaign. Your gift supports our mission to renew the culture of life by forming young adult missionaries and raising awareness and funds for pregnancy resource centers that support pregnant women across the country.

Crib Check
Making sure the cribs are up to snuff at one of our PRCs on the New York Route. They offer multiple rooms for new moms to stay for free if they don't have secure housing, so that's pretty awesome!
Pause for Prayer
We almost always make a quick stop at a Church for some time in Adoration, can't do this without Jesus!
Free Baby Gear!
Checking out a PRC on the Maine route, look at all the 'go-bags' they have ready for new moms and dads with baby clothes, blankets, toys, and books!
Embrace the unexpected
Not as pretty, but way more publicity for life on the detour!
