We’re Tommy and Stephanie Mathis, newly married as of September 2025 and excitedly preparing to welcome our first child in November 2026. Our life together is rooted in both creativity and adventure—we’re musicians at heart and love spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing whenever we can. We also serve regularly at our church on the worship and tech teams, which has been a meaningful way for us to grow in our faith and build community. This season of life has been full of new beginnings, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to learn, serve, and grow together.
In December of 2025, Stephanie started working at First Step Women's Center in Springfield, IL, a pregnancy resource center that encourages women facing unexpected pregnancies. Through her employment at First Step, Tommy and Stephanie learned about Biking for Babies.
Through Biking for Babies, our heart is to help women realize they are not alone and that there are real, tangible resources available to help them choose life for their babies. We want to be part of offering hope, practical support, and compassion in situations that can feel overwhelming. Through this mission, we hope to reflect God’s love in a way that empowers women to make life-affirming decisions and reminds them of their strength, value, and support system.
